The areas are probably Italy-inspired, it just looks so nice, it has some open fields and cool cities to drive around in. Visually the game did really improve, the cities and landscapes look a lot closer to the newer games and the way it plays and the HUD as well.
This made the game so extremely boring, especially because every time you got to the same city again, it felt like I was doing the same 4 races again but with just a different car. While it improved on the 1st game with the off-road stuff, the road trip element really just makes the game more boring and linear.Įvery time you do a small road trip to a city, do 4 races and then you go off to the next city… and that’s the whole game. Sadly, the open-world bit feels really stripped.
Comparing this game to the 1st and 5th one in the series, there is a lot of things wrong with this one.
